- Volunteered monthly to help with Library operations.
- Sponsored children’s programs.
- Organized fund-raisers and special events.
- Made handicrafts for sale at annual “Christmas in Odessa.”
- Purchased books on tape and DVDs.
- Attended statewide Friends meeting.
- Purchased a DVD player, digital camera and portable CD player.
- Funded Library’s web site
Things You Can Do To Support The Library
Renew your Friends membership for 2010.
Volunteer your time to help in the library.
Share your love for reading with an adult who needs help - be a NEW START literacy tutor.
Participate actively in library fundraising events.
Use us! Check out books, schedule your meetings here, attend library programs.
Let us know what programs you would like to see.
Introduce a child to the library.
Join the Friends of the library.
Support state and local initiatives to increase library budgets.
Donate a book or money to the library in honor of a friend or cause.
Be vigilant against any attempt by taxing authorities to cut library funding.
Join Today or Renew your Membership!
