Have some experience crocheting or knitting?

If so, please join us on Tuesdays starting

November 13 @ 10:00 am for fun, coffee and

making lapghans*.

Please bring your own needles. We will provide yarn and coffee.

(This is not a teaching class.)

Finished items will be donated to a local charity.

*usually a 36” X 48” blanket meant to wrap someone’s legs for comfort and warmth.

Sea Shanties

Presented by the Lewes Historical Society

Be entertained inside the walls of the library as in your imaginations they are transformed into the hull of a ship. Hear three tales of the deep blue sea, set during the golden age of sail. Learn why the Shanty was a perfect story telling method for those who lived and worked, and sometimes met their end upon the open ocean.
