Public Computers and Workstations
- Full and free Internet access with a New Castle County
Library card ( Parents: please see Staff with any
special concerns) - Wireless internet access
- Public access software includes Microsoft Office
- CD-ROM drives available
- Color copies are $.25 each. B & W copies are $.10 each after the first five which are free.
Reference - General reference and information services are available, including assistance for children, senior citizens and customers with special needs.
Adult Education - Free tutoring is available for adults to improve reading skills, study English-as-a-Second Language or prepare for the GED.
Volunteers - The Library is a great place for community volunteers! The NEW START program needs “Volunteer Tutors” to help other adults improve reading skills. “Library Volunteers” help at the Front Desk and with other duties. Volunteers learn new skills and are able to help their neighbors. Call 378-8838 (Library) or 378-3444 (NEW START).
Meeting Rooms - The Library offers several meeting areas for use by community groups, scouts, clubs, etc. Please consider a tax-deductible donation, amount of your choice, before you reserve a room with us.

- Photocopying - Images up to 11 X 17, collation/stapling, reduce/enlarge feature, double-sided copying and more.
Prices: 1-19 copies ($0.15 per sheet). 20+ copies - $0.10 per sheet.
- Public Access FAX (302)-378-7803 - no advance notice required on incoming copies.
Sending - $2.00 first page, $1.00 each additional.
Receiving - $1.00 per page.
- Microfilm/fiche Reader/Printer - Copies are $0.15 per sheet.
- 35 mm Slide Projector & Screen - For in-house use or loan. Reserve in advance.
